Come join your fellow Hoyas to learn about life as an LGBTQ practitioner in international affairs. We have gathered a panel of professionals from the Department of State who will share their experiences and take questions from students:
Robert Gilchrist, Director, State Department Operations Center, Senior Foreign Service Officer. International tours in: Sweden, Estonia, Romania, Iraq, Venezuela, and the UK
Lucia Piazza, Director of the Office of Crisis Management and Strategy. Foreign Service Officer. International tours in: Uganda, Togo, Nigeria, and Tunisia
David Glietz, President of GLIFAA and Civil Service Employee, has served in various bureaus at State, hired through the Pathways Internship Program.
Emily Ruppel, Social Director for GLIFAA and Foreign Service Officer in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs. International tours in: Haiti and Chile
